EDAS-2000

The EDAS CE Base System consists of a Power Module and a CPU Module. Up to 12 I/O Modules in any configuration and combination can be attached to the CPU Module. Since each I/O module can offer up to 16 channels, systems with up to 192 channels can be configured. For even larger systems multiple EDAS CE units can be used that communicate with each other through Ethernet. Communication between the CPU and the modules is achieved through an enhanced PC/104 bus. During boot time the hardware configuration and combination of modules is automatically detected.

EDAS-1001

EDAS-1000E Series Ethernet Data Acquisition Systems are stand-alone data acquisition systems that connect to and communicate over Ethernet (IEEE 802.310Base-T) Local Area Networks(LANs). Using (TCP/IP) they enable you to integrate acquired data with your facility-wide or world-wide network, making the data available for use by other networked resources, or for further processing by personal or company software.

EDAS-1002

The EDAS-1002E-1A model combines analog I/O and digital I/O data acquisition functions (8 differential or 16 single-ended analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 16 digital I/O channels and one counter). Like the EDAS-1001E-1A, this unit also contains a built-in processor, ROM-based executive firmware, TCP/IP, an Ethernet interface and an RS-232 port for serial I/O (and for initial network configuration of the unit). The EDAS-1002E-2A model has all the above features and an RS-485 serial port for communication with multiple RS-485 devices.

EDAS-1025

The EDAS-1025 Serial EDAS systems can allow any RS-232 device, including PLC’s, controllers, instruments, scales, gauges, smart sensors, machines, printers, terminals and scanners, to communicate with computers located anywhere on an Ethernet network. Each EDAS-1025 Serial EDAS provides 2 or 4 RS-232 serial ports.

EDAS-1027

The EDAS-1027 Industrial EDAS systems are housed in NEMA-12 rated enclosures for use in harsh environments. It provides 16 digital I/O channels, which are individually configurable as inputs or outputs. With the use of isolated signal conditioning modules, 10 to 280 Volt I/O ranges are supported. Any signal conditioning or isolation modules used are within the enclosure.

EDAS-1031

The EDAS-1031E is a high-resolution member of the EDAS 1000 Series. The model combines 16-bit resolution analog input, 12-bit analog output and digital I/O data acquisition functions (8 differential or 16 single-ended analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 16 digital I/O channels and one counter). The EDAS-1031E-1A model contains a built-in processor, ROM-based executive firmware, TCP/IP, an Ethernet interface and an RS-232 port for serial I/O (and for initial network configuration of the unit).

The EDAS-1031E-2A model has all the above features and an RS-485 serial port for communication with multiple RS-485 devices. EDAS-1031E units also feature Ethernet communication diagnostic LEDs located at the back panel of each unit (these LEDs are located inside the case on other EDAS models).
